Young Artist’s Corner
- The Boy Who Flew From The Pages
Poem By: Rosaline Osborn
They say you are nothing but a fiction.
That you are found only in a children’s book.
They have never seen your true intention.
For your name was but a man’s prediction.
Written to vanquish a villain and his hook.
They say you are nothing but a fiction.
A boy who came flying from the diction.
An Island with a collection of brooks.
They have never seen your true intention.
She followed you with no hesitation.
From window to the hidden Island nook.
They say you are nothing but a fiction.
Hook, clever to take her for conviction.
Tempting to end your story, what a crook.
They have never seen your true intention.
Hidden in the corner, her depiction.
The one to never grow up was mistook.
They say you are nothing but a fiction.
They have never seen your true intention.
