Hi Members, and welcome to July 2017
BREAKING NEWS!
The guest teacher for the 2018 BADFA Convention will be SHARA REINER.
You can see Shara’s distinctive style on her website, and see
her teaching on You Tube.
Details of the designs she’ll be teaching will be in the next
newsletter. The costs for the classes, and hotel are expected
to be similar to this year.
As there has been no other submission or suggestion, the
venue will be the Ibis Hotel, Parklands, Crick, NN6 7EX, and
the dates are 11/12/13 May 2018.
As we did this year, teachers will be invited to submit projects
that will be taught as an alternative, for those who would prefer
something different to Shara’s designs. Teachers will be
reimbursed at the same rates as this year. So teachers, get
your designs prepared ready for the application form in the
next newsletter.
Submissions must be in by 30 November, and by mid-
December the committee will decide which designs are successful. This will give you plenty of
time to finalise your project.
The rest of the itinerary will be similar to previous events.
