It was long and passionate, but I won’t go in to detail. Suffice to say, things don’t change. Even back in 2006 they were looking for venue suggestions, looking for different teachers, and projects for the newsletter … and looking for nominees for committee. Luckily we press-ganged convinced Clare and Vanessa to join us this year, but what’s going to happen when we need a new chairman, secretary, or treasurer (or even editor!)? Anyway, enough of that, I’m sure it will be alright on the night. But it should be food for thought for you all - with no committee there is no BADFA … The Christmas project is a Lola Gill original, so I hope you enjoy painting it, or adapting it to a surface you have at home. We’d really like to see how you get on with it and for you to send in a picture. Don’t forget the link to the members-only booking form is on page 1, and there is an early bird discount if you get in quick. This year, is ‘big-brush year’, with Prudy Vanier coming over to spend the weekend with you. Kim
