Sharon spent a day with Clare in her studio in Tilgate Park, Crawley, and painted this poppy. Catherine finished her Christmas Hanger, and Kim finished his, too. Afterthought … Well, that’s it for another year. We can put our brushes away, put all those UFOs (unfinished objects) back in the garage, wash the apron, and sit back and wait for next year. Or we can keep up the momentum - keep the brushes handy, paint pots on stand-by, surfaces at the ready, and PAINT! Even better, why not contact a friend (old or new, it doesn’t matter) and get together to paint. Put out a shout on the BADFA Facebook page. If distance is an issue, why not recreate the old school pen pal days and email each other with pictures, projects, and what you’ve been doing. It could be like a community. Just saying …
