ith climate change,
sustainability and
being plastic free high on
everyone’s agenda, planners
are wanting ideas that break
the mould and have high
impact, whilst having green
credentials. Ice pioneers
Icebox are always devising
new ways to make an impact
on events and campaign
briefs without destroying the
planet, or indeed people.
Responsible drinking is also
what 2020 is all about as
new laws have come in with
the Drinkaware responsible
drinking campaign, and
Icebox has a number of
ways to set great events
apart from the norm.
Here are a few ideas
organisers can try this year to
make their events really
stand out:
Moonball Martinis.
Ice art – the trend of high
impact temporary sculptures is
in full flow. Fully recyclable and
sustainable ice sculptures
deliver a powerful message that
carries on through images and
social media long after the ice
has melted. Last year, Icebox’s
sculptures hit the headlines
and social media all over the
world with various clever ideas.
3D logos made into any size
are also popular for corporate
events or how about live ice
carving for entertainment? The
best thing about these? Not
having to waste resource or
store the sculpture after the
event.
Botanical luges – the trend for
interesting ways not to
consume alcohol shows no
signs of abating. Icebox has re-
designed the luge to now
contain several channels some
filled with herbal filters to
create subtle enhancements to
your perfectly chilled libation.
Choose any idea and the
creative carvers will make it
work for your event.
Logo cubes – a big story right
now and a cool way to brand
your event or share your
message. The MD will love it!
Moon balls – these were
originally introduced to the UK
by Icebox and melt very slowly
keeping drinks perfectly chilled
without diminishing the
concentration. These are
perfect for whisky/rum or any
spirit needing a rock and add a
touch of haute couture to your
libation.
Bar blocks – these look
amazing on bars, carefully
using an ice pick to break up
the ice brings theatre to the
bar and an array of different
shapes for everyone’s drinks.
Bespoke cubes – crystal clear
and larger than regular ice
cubes for serving with whisky
or other spirits. These melt
slowly preserving the
authenticity of the drink
keeping it cooler for longer.
Flower cubes – choose edible
flowers to be perfectly frozen in
clear ice. These are a
wonderful addition to a Gin Bar
or for giving mocktails and soft

drinks a glamorous feel. Perfect

cocktails or make your water
glasses more inspiring. These
are perfect for encouraging
people to stay hydrated.

great for slowly releasing
flavours into water allowing a
new experience every time a
sip is taken, it’s a brand-new
way to enjoy water!
