Driving to a 10th Anniversary!
The Spectacular Supercar Event
The inspiration behind The
Supercar Event
In 2007, a group of Ferrari
enthusiasts heard about a young
girl from Surrey who had
suffered a brain injury as a result
of a viral infection. After being in
a coma for two weeks, Becky
Groves received rehabilitation at
The Children’s Trust in Tadworth,
Surrey, the UK’s leading charity
for children with brain injury. The
specialist care she received
helped Becky regain many of the
skills she had lost, enabling her
to return home.

elebrating its 10th
Anniversary, the
spectacular Supercar Event,
held in aid of The Children’s
Trust, returns to Dunsfold
Park, Cranleigh, on Saturday
2nd and Sunday 3rd July. The
annual weekend extravaganza
not only offers a fantastic
opportunity for a thrilling
passenger ride in a supercar
on the famous Top Gear
track, from just £30, but also
has a wide variety of
attractions for all the family.
The Supercar Event has been
described as one of the biggest
interactive supercar events in
the UK, with over 150 fabulous
supercars taking part including
some of the most expensive
models of Ferraris, Lamborghinis
and McLarens, as well as many
others. Visitors can also
experience a breath-taking spin
in a Caterham 7 on a specially
designed skid pan.
Elaine Paige, an ambassador
of The Children’s Trust, said, “It
is a fabulous event. I had a great
time and can recommend a spin
in a Caterham 7 - it was a
fantastic experience!”
Helicopter flights, fire engine and
classic cars rides are also
available. Youngsters have lots
of activities to keep them busy in
a designated children’s area and

The Ferrari owners arranged a
visit to The Children’s Trust to
give children, families, staff and
the public passenger rides in
their amazing supercars. The
visit was a huge success …
and The Supercar Event was
born!
Max Chilton said, “The
Supercar Event is amazing. It’s
very rare that so many people
can get up close and personal to
some of the world’s most
spectacular supercars. It’s the
whole package on an iconic
track and it’s an event not to be
missed!”
Over the years, the annual event
has evolved attracting growing
numbers of car enthusiasts and
families to the action-packed
weekend. In 2015, The
Supercar Event raised over
£120,000 for The Children’s
Trust, the UK’s leading charity for
children with brain injury.
