T
he Pink Ribbon Ball is
Breast Cancer Now’s
flagship gala dinner, which
celebrates its 25th
Anniversary on
2nd November 2019 at the
Sheraton Grand Park Lane.
When the first Pink Ribbon Ball
was held, the charity that
organised it was run by just two
full-time staff and was about to
support its first major research
project. That charity was Breast
Cancer Campaign.
Since then, the charity has
gone from strength to strength,
merging with Breakthrough
Breast Cancer to become
Breast Cancer Now. Right now,
On 1st April this year, Breast
Cancer Now merged again, this
time with Breast Cancer Care.
This created the UK’s first
comprehensive breast cancer
charity with the ability to
provide more life-changing
support, fund more life-saving
research and campaign even
more effectively for better
services and care for people
affected by breast cancer.
Over the years, The Pink Ribbon
Ball has gathered an inspiring
community of supporters and
an invaluable team of
committee members. The
evening is a night of
entertainment and celebration
with headline acts such as
Bastille, Paloma Faith, and
most recently, Emeli Sandé.
With these celebrations, the
evening honours everybody that
has gone through a breast
cancer diagnosis and
remembers every life lost.

To date, The Pink Ribbon Ball
has raised an incredible £4.5
million. This is enough to fund
more than 20 vital research
projects across the UK ....
projects that look for new ways
to prevent, detect, treat and
save lives from breast cancer.
On 2nd November this year,
The Pink Ribbon Ball looks
forward to a silver celebration,
marking 25 years of
achievements for Breast Cancer
Now. With fabulous
entertainment, fine dining and
luxury prizes, it is a night that
shouldn’t be missed.
