art of one of London’s
most iconic Grade 2
listed buildings, County Hall,
which has been unoccupied
since the 1980’s, has been
completely transformed by
etc. venues into a
magnificent conference,
meetings and events
destination.
It boasts 43,000 square feet of
space over the fourth floor – 20
rooms, including a conference
room with capacity for 400
guests, and the Thames and
County suites (max 900
guests),which comprise of
15,000 sq ft of connecting
space and has the most idyllic,
uninterrupted views of the River
Thames, the Houses of
the Pantone scale and the
most amazing array of artwork
on which to rest your eyes. The
general feeling is one of a
state-of-the-art events venue,
incorporating cameos of its
former glory. and plenty of fabulous loos! The
AV and WiFi are of the highest
spec and there is a range of
hotel accommodation, from the
Premier Inn to the Marriott
Hotel, all within walking
distance.
Facilities for between 20 and
900 guests are available in a
veritable smorgasbord of rooms
and suites. There are first-class
in-house caterers, the
restaurant is open for all-day
grazing and it turns into a
welcoming bar in the evening.

stations are scattered
throughout, as is comfortable
seating for break-out sessions This is a very special venue,
which has a magical feel to it
and I’m sure it will be a huge
success. So, whatever event
you’re planning – be it a small
meeting, a conference, an
awards dinner or a charity lunch
– you need look no further than
County Hall. (Charity rates are
considered on a case by case
basis).
Parliament and Big Ben.
As you walk around the
perimeter of this ultra-modern
space, you catch glimpses of
the original architecture, such
as the swirls and curls of the
exterior, through the Art Deco
windows. The authentic 1922
parquet flooring has been
lovingly restored and there are
panels of original brickwork
featured throughout. There are
lots of unique little touches
everywhere you look –
telescopes in the Thames Suite
to see the view over the
Thames and Big Ben more
clearly, a general theme of
round shapes, including huge
rounds on the ceiling, which
can change to any colour on
