Unique Venues of London Membership Grows to 82
Unique Venues of London recently announced three new members in the association- the National Gallery, the British Library and Two Temple Place- bringing the total membership to 82.
The National Gallery is one of the capital’ s icons boasting a unique, world-famous collection of paintings. The British Library, designed by lauded architect Colin St John Wilson, has become one of London’ s best-loved modern landmarks, collating every piece of literature written in the English language. Two Temple Place is the elegant former-residence of millionaire businessman Lord Astor and current home of The Bulldog Trust charity.
Commenting on achieving membership, Natasha Halford from the National Gallery said,“ The National Gallery Events Team are absolutely thrilled to be joining Unique Venues of London, which comprises an extraordinary collection of venues. In particular we are looking forward to being part of a wider network of like-minded professionals, which will enable us to share best practice with our peers.”
Unique Venues of London will be exhibiting at The Meeting Show, 14th-16th June, where visitors can find out more about the three new members and Unique Venues of London’ s overall work.

Showman’ s Show Returns To Newbury Showground
The Showman’ s Show’ s was launched in 1984 and is firmly established as the
UK’ s original and most comprehensive exhibition for the outdoor and special event world. The 2016 Show will take place at Newbury Showground from 19th – 20th October. With more than 350 suppliers exhibiting the best products and services available in the event industry and almost 4,500 event organisers attending, it is an excellent opportunity to meet new suppliers, network with colleagues and discover the latest innovations and technologies.
Lance Show & Publications Limited work hard to ensure that they have a broad range of exhibitors offering visitors a good cross section of the entire supply chain, from state-ofthe-art structures, plant and hire equipment, to waste management, caterers, health and safety solutions and finishing touches. Visitors can also expect to meet companies launching new products, alongside showcases and demonstrations of industry staples.
In addition, the rise in demand for sustainable products and surge in appetite for all things technology related is reflected in the exhibitor list. There is also a focus on delivering fun and entertainment and the Acts and Attractions tent has proved very popular with exhibitors and visitors alike since its introduction in 2014.
“ Plans for the 2016 Show are really taking shape; we’ ve only been accepting exhibitor bookings for less than a month and we already have almost 100 confirmed,” says show organiser Jeremy Lance.“ We are always striving to ensure that the Show continues to be the ideal platform for companies providing everything from practical, functional industry staples and creative finishing touches to sustainable solutions, technology and entertainment. This year we have a number of exciting new elements that we will be adding to enhance the Show.”
