Unique Venues of London has announced two new members to the association , 10-11 Carlton House Terrace and Sky Garden , bringing their total membership to 86 .
EACH VENUE WAS ASSESSED THROUGH UNIQUE VENUES OF LONDON ’ S RIGOROUS JOINING PROCESS , WHICH INCLUDES COMPLETE FINANCIAL DECLARATIONS AND A SERIES OF ‘ SECRET SHOPPER ’ VISITS TO PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS , BEFORE A FINAL PRESENTATION AND SUBSEQUENT VOTE FROM EXISTING MEMBERS .

In over 180 years of service , 10-11 Carlton House Terrace has played host to members of the Royal Family , Prime Ministers , Members of Parliament and business leaders of the day .
Once the former residence of Prime Minister William Gladstone and now home of the British Academy , 10-11 Carlton House Terrace sits at the very heart of the capital , overlooking St James ’ s Park , Whitehall and the Mall .
