Events @ No. 6 – Dedicated to Excellence and Innovation in Hospitality. t’s always great to welcome a new venue to the London Events scene but to be really blown away by somewhere new is genuinely refreshing, especially when you’ve been around as long as I have! Events @ No. 6 is a partnership between Vacherin, Independent Caterers and The Royal College of Pathologists, who’s brand new headquarters building in The City has been carefully designed, planned and built to the highest specifications to serve both the College’s needs and create an innovative and exciting events space. Sleek matt wood and architectural polished concrete give an immediate feeling of refined luxury. The string quintet, Smooth sounds from Velvet Entertainment. I Event professionals excited and happy about a stunning new venue. supplied by Velvet Entertainment, whisked us into a spacious reception and set an atmosphere of warmth and welcome. Later it was fascinating how their themes and airs drifted up to the main event space but did not overwhelm. Vacherin showed off with a fresh Prosecco Era, Extra Dry the perfect dry but fruity combination to match generous offerings of captivating and original canapes. Date sweetcorn fritter with smashed avocado; Parmesan black olive shortbread parsley pesto & feta cheese or London hot smoked salmon mousse, salmon caviar, crème fraiche gel bronze fennel are just three of some delicious flavour combinations. The other vista stretches along the Thames from Canary Wharf, The Shard and the Palace of Westminster.
