Events @ No. 6 –
Dedicated to Excellence
and Innovation in Hospitality.
t’s always great to welcome
a new venue to the London
Events scene but to be really
blown away by somewhere
new is genuinely refreshing,
especially when you’ve been
around as long as I have!
Events @ No. 6 is a
partnership between Vacherin,
Independent Caterers and The
Royal College of Pathologists,
who’s brand new
headquarters building in The
City has been carefully
designed, planned and built to
the highest specifications to
serve both the College’s
needs and create an
innovative and exciting events
space.

supplied by Velvet
Entertainment, whisked us into
a spacious reception and set an
atmosphere of warmth and
welcome. Later it was
fascinating how their themes
and airs drifted up to the main
event space but did not
overwhelm. Vacherin showed off
with a fresh Prosecco Era, Extra
Dry the perfect dry but fruity
combination to match generous
offerings of captivating and
original canapes. Date
sweetcorn fritter with smashed
avocado; Parmesan black olive
shortbread parsley pesto & feta
cheese or London hot smoked
salmon mousse, salmon caviar,
crème fraiche gel bronze fennel
are just three of some delicious
flavour combinations.
There are six event rooms
spread over three floors which

accommodate between 20 and
210 people. Several of the
rooms connect and can be used
in combination giving a whole
variety of event options. The two
largest seating 210 and 100
theatre style have flat floors – no
more raked seating to negotiate
– and audio visual services to
the highest current spec mean
everyone has good views and
access for daytime meetings.
What is really exciting is the two
spectacular roof terraces, each
holding around 100 guests. One
looks towards The City Skyline
with its iconic buildings. The
other vista stretches along the
Thames from Canary Wharf, The
Shard and the Palace of
Westminster.
The DatebooK was given early
and privileged access to No. 6
so we should be ahead of the
game in bringing you this news.
We all want something new,
exciting and of quality and this
venue delivers. No. 6 really is
going to be popular so get there
and confirm your event as early
as possible.
