Wilton’s Music Hall
A
living piece of London’s
history, Wilton’s Music
Hall is a unique venue in the
heart of London’s East End.
The venue is the world’s
oldest surviving Grand Music
Hall and makes a stunning
setting for London events.
Wilton’s Music Hall has evolved
over 300 years, starting its life
as a Victorian sailors’ pub
before becoming a music hall,
Methodist Mission and rag
warehouse. It later fell derelict
for a period of time before
being transformed into the
mesmerising venue it is today.
Wilton’s is renowned for its
theatrical East End history. Not
only is it a great venue, it’s also
a living theatre, concert hall,
public bar and heritage site.
Giving Back to the Local
Community
Wilton’s provides a range of
heritage workshops for the
local community, delivered
alongside its popular
productions. With opportunities
to learn about theatre, local
history and architecture,
Wilton’s Music Hall feeds local
people’s curiosity. Free
activities, family events and
talks take place throughout the
year. Workshops also include
private tours of the building.
With its ambitious artistic,
heritage, learning and
participation plans, Wilton’s
attracts a loyal and diverse
audience. Just under 25% of
