Issue 9 of The Dark Sire
Happy birthday TDS ! That ’ s right , today ’ s our birthday . We ’ re in our terrible 2 ’ s . Just in time to celebrate Halloween .
Going into Year 3 , some major changes are happening . First and foremost is our new look and feel . Although we publish the same great content you ’ ve come to expect , we now sport a more gothic and darker aesthetic . We ’ re leaning closer to our roots : tombstones , dark forests , bats , and our everfavorite skulls . TDS ’ new look exudes the essence of who we are on the inside . And we ’ re proud of that !
Another change is our name : The Dark Sire Literary Journal . There was nothing wrong with being a magazine , but being a journal fits us better now .
And last but not least , we have a new leader . The talented J . L . Vampa has taken up the reigns as Editor-in-Chief of TDS . We ’ re in great hands with her at the helm and look forward to where she takes us . To reach her , simply email :
