the world.” Viken smiled at his joke, but then he looked
directly into my eyes, “But even a powerful warrior needs
to take great care in fighting a fiend who would desire such
a thing, or they might not live to see another battle.”
I smiled wryly at his remark. I knew exactly what
he was hinting at, but I would never allow myself to stop. I
had a mission, which I needed to fulfill at all costs. Getting
the medallion was just one part of the equation. I had to
put a stop to not only Damascus, but Lazarius as well.
Thankfully, because of information I had obtained some
years ago, I knew how to destroy my creator. I needed the
medallion to do it, and I was not about to let Viken or
anyone else know about the plans I had been working on
for over seven years now.
