Hell’s Love of
Heaven’s Hatred
by S.M. Cook
Dark, distant, haunted birth
The long candlelit path of the dead
Sail along the noise of silence
Hardened by the love of the devil
Justified in the soul of insanity
Until the dawn of creation is gone
Saints of hell are traveling near
To sing the tales of rebirth and hatred
Leaving the gaunt to burn in heaven
Dim, remote, eerie origin
The extended radiant course of the departed
Float along the clamor of quiet
Toughened by the affection of the imp
Warranted in the spirit of lunacy
Pending the morning of conception is vanished
Angels of torture are journeying close
To lament the stories of renewal and loathing
Parting the emaciated to blaze in paradise
