As a woman, when your purity is called into question it is never a joking matter. Although sexual innocence is valued and encouraged in all women, when you are of nobility it is even more scrutinized. Desdemona was a woman that was accused of being an adultress to a noble man, Othello. Although, these accusations were proven to be false, it was too late by the time that the truth surfaced. She was murdered by the love of her life and was loyal until the end....or was she? Some believe that although she was not actively cheating on Othello with Michael Cassio was she tempted to do so
in the near future?
