Women’s Store – Men’s
Restaurant. That is what I
thought as Cheryl browsed
through all the “pretties”
strewn about the shelves and
floor of Ree Drummond’s
Pioneer Woman
Mercantile located in
Pawhuska, Okla.
We went upstairs looking
around, and Cheryl grabbed
a box full of pastries from
the bakery. Couches, chairs
and tables lined the upstairs
with televisions playing clips
of “The Pioneer Woman”
television series from the
WANTED
InsIde and OutsIde VendOrs

upstairs of the Mercantile is
a perfect place for the men
to hang out while the women
shop downstairs.
Now, let’s talk about the
good stuff…the restaurant
located within the Mercantile.
On the day we were there it
didn’t take long for us to get
seated at a table. I ordered
Cowboy Steak with a twice
baked potato, blistered green
beans and salad. The salad
was genuinely delicious
