ENTERTAINMENT BUZZ
TULSA, Okla. – The iconic BOK
Center is celebrating their
10th anniversary with a “10
for 10 Concert Series.” The
third concert announced was
Oklahoma born and bred, and
People Magazine’s “Sexiest
Man Alive” for 2017 – Blake
Shelton.
Shelton, 41, was born in Ada,
Okla., and currently resides
in Tishomingo. Shelton burst
onto the country music
scene in 2001, with the hit
single “Austin”. Since 2001,
Shelton has released 11
studio albums; the latest,
Texoma Shore, hit No. 1 on the
Billboard album charts.
Shelton has recorded 17 No.
1 singles, which he carefully
crafts.
“When I think about the
songs I might record, I ask
myself: Can I picture anybody
I know back home sitting in
their truck cranking this up?”
This shows, as Oklahomans
are probably some of Blake
Shelton’s biggest fans.
Fortunately, there are still
tickets available for those late
to the gate.
Blake is also as well known
for his coaching job on NBC’s
“The Voice”. He is an original
cast member since the show’s
inception in 2011. One of
Shelton’s team members have
won in six of the 13 seasons
of the show, making Shelton
the most winning coach of
“The Voice.” Shelton and Adam
Levine bring a “bromance full
of love and silliness” to the
show. Visit NBC for dates and
times of the show.
Another captivating aspect of
Blake Shelton is his wonderful
sense of humor. If you are not
following him on Twitter, you
are missing out. He is witty,
smart-mouthed, and very
active.
You can’t have an article
about in Blake Shelton and
not discuss his powerful,
influential relationship with
Gwen Stefani. While she is
not on the bill or scheduled
to attend, it isn’t unheard of
her “showing up” and sitting
in for a few. Also, with the
concert being so close to
Valentine’s Day, you’ll have
better luck than most to catch
Blake and Gwen together in
song. Whether you are team
Gwen or team Miranda, who
wouldn’t want to see Blake
belt it out with Gwen?
Shelton even has a clothing
line, BS by Blake Shelton, sold
exclusively at Macy’s and on
www.macys.com. So, you can
even dress like Blake to see
Blake.
The Thursday, Feb. 15 show
at the BOK Center is one on
Blake Shelton’s Country Music
Freaks Tour of North America
packed full of country music
stars including the upcoming
country male super star Brett
Eldredge, country music
song bird Carly Pearce, and
country royalty star Trace
Adkins. This powerhouse
lineup will be sure to
entertain you for a night to
remember and with the date
being so close to Valentine’s
Day, bring a date and you are
in for a good night for sure.

night range from $46-$95,
plus taxes and fees. Again, as
mentioned above, tickets are
