ENTERTAINMENT BUZZ TULSA, Okla. – The iconic BOK Center is celebrating their 10th anniversary with a “10 for 10 Concert Series.” The third concert announced was Oklahoma born and bred, and People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2017 – Blake Shelton. Shelton, 41, was born in Ada, Okla., and currently resides in Tishomingo. Shelton burst onto the country music scene in 2001, with the hit single “Austin”. Since 2001, Shelton has released 11 studio albums; the latest, Texoma Shore, hit No. 1 on the Billboard album charts. Shelton has recorded 17 No. 1 singles, which he carefully crafts. “When I think about the songs I might record, I ask myself: Can I picture anybody I know back home sitting in their truck cranking this up?” This shows, as Oklahomans are probably some of Blake Shelton’s biggest fans. Fortunately, there are still tickets available for those late to the gate. Blake is also as well known for his coaching job on NBC’s “The Voice”. He is an original cast member since the show’s inception in 2011. One of Shelton’s team members have won in six of the 13 seasons of the show, making Shelton the most winning coach of “The Voice.” Shelton and Adam Levine bring a “bromance full of love and silliness” to the show.
