I have owned both going on four
years now, pouring my heart
and soul into them. This is truly
my “happy place”’.

most days, sauna, massage
Juicy Tan is separate, yet
adjoining to Total Fitness. Juicy
Tan however caters to men,
women and kids of all ages. At
Juicy Tan we feature our tanning
packages and tanning lotions.

It is totally geared to the fitness
needs of women. I am the
Owner, Personal Trainer, and
Fitness Nutrition counselor.

I didn’t start out in life in the
fitness industry; quite the
opposite – I spent my previous
life in corporate communications.
I started moving up in the IT
field, in the AT&T Bell Operating
Company in Denver. I had
numerous assignments, and loved
them all. Near the end of 20
years I managed the IT services
and staff in six major buildings
that we had in the downtown
area. I loved it dearly and
called it ‘my contribution to
humanity.’
Times changed and technology
progressed, corporate life
became less rewarding. The
employee ceased to be the
company’s greatest asset.
Having worked up to a very
nice salary, I was offered a
voluntary severance; I took it
and ran. Soon after I accepted
a position with what is now
Verizon in Tulsa. After 10 years
and holding several different
managerial positions, I got
caught in one of the ongoing
rightsizing/downsizing efforts
like so many others.
Fast forward to where I am
now, a happily married small
business owner. None of this
would be possible without the
financial support and dedicated
maintenance skills of my terrific
husband. It takes a team,
and I am blessed with staffers
that love this place and treat
it as their own. My corporate
background has equipped me
with the technical, marketing
and leadership skills to succeed.
I am passionate about helping
women feel better, get healthy,
and improve their self image. I
have come to learn that what I
do now is truly ‘my contribution
to humanity’.
