BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Golf,
food and music enthusiasts
shall rejoice when the top
women golfers in the world
converge for the 11 th annual
NW Arkansas Championship,
presented by P&G, and
#NWAChampionship Week,
held June 19-25.
Teeing up
Some of the most talented
women golfers from around
the world will battle it out
in the three-day tourney,
slated for June 23-25 at
the breathtaking Pinnacle
Country Club in Rogers, Ark.
Among the dozens of
athletes coming to battle it
for more than $2 million in
cash and prizes are Lydia Ko,
and local favorites/former
Arkansas Razorbacks Stacy
Lewis and Gaby Lopez.
Three University of Arkansas
female golfers have the
opportunity to participate
and compete in the NW
Arkansas Championship.
The top scoring Razorback
as of May 11 will earn the
automatic exemption, while
the second and third best
golfers will have a chance
to qualify for the tournament
in the Monday qualifier on
June 19.
There’s also some laid back
fun with field participants at
the Pro-Am June 21-22.
Hunger games
BITE NW Arkansas will
offer two nights of delicious
food and beverage to the
community at large June 22-
23 at its new home on the 8 th
Street Market in Bentonville.
“BITE is fun! Crowded,
but fun…it’s good grub
and worth (dealing with)
the crowd.” Betsy Brumley-
Bernier, Co-Founder, I’ll Fly
Away Foundation.
BITE Night One features
dozens of the region’s
finest chefs and restaurants
tantalizing your taste buds
booth-after-booth, while
BITE Night Two focuses on
two subjects – burgers and
beer. After a long, hot week
of enjoying all that NWA
has to offer, it’s great to see
these two – burgers and
beer – collaborate once
again. They make quite
the gathering, and adult
carnivores couldn’t agree
more.
“I prefer the beer and
burger fest (Night Two, June
23). Ton of fun and good
food,” said Bentonville
resident Will Davis.
One thing is for sure – no
matter which night you hit
Coming together
T his year’s Walmart
Community Concert will
feature Elle King at 6 p.m.
on June 24 at the Arkansas
Music Pavilion. Renowned
for her Grammy-nominated
hit single, “Ex’s & Ohs”,
King’s style mashes country,
blues and rock to render
a pop sound that’s highly
palatable. The only thing
more pleasing is the ticket
price – only $9 for lawn and
$18 for reserved seating – the
most affordable show of the
AMP concert season!

There are more great to-
dos at @NWAChampionship
Week, including the Walmart
Kid’s Center, where kids
can learn about the game
of golf and more through
fun activities, and the
sanctioned 5K @ the LPGA,
which benefits Mercy.
