BUZZWORTHY: The air is alive
On target
TULSA, Okla. – The Hunt Club
on the corner of Main &
Cameron in downtown Tulsa
is a bullseye for those seeking
relaxed atmosphere and
stellar service in the midst
of a neighborhood that
is drifting away from such
cherished concepts.
Some must-see shows
hitting The Hunt Club this
May include BC & The Big Rig
on Saturday, May 6. Brandon
Clark’s band is better than
ever and they’ve been
touring frequently over the
last couple years, yet don’t
hesitate to call Hunt Club
home once a month.
Craig Cook & the
Marauders take over Hunt
Club on Friday, May 12.
This Kansas City-based
country band will appeal
to fans of The Great Divide
and Zac Brown Band with
their musical intuition and
polished arrangements.
Cook’s pretty cunning with
the lyrics, too.
Smunty Voje offers
something a bit different on
Saturday, May 20. According
to the band’s website, the
Voje had an interesting
entrance into this world:
“There is a legend that
surrounds the uprising of the
band itself with the story
of a pirate who was born
underwater from a drowning
prostitute.” Sounds like pure
rock ‘n roll fun to me!
