TO HELP ACTUALLY DECIDE WHICH BRANDS WERE
GOING TO BE SELECTED FOR THE TOOLBOX, A SET OF
FIVE QUESTIONS WERE GIVEN TO SEVERAL STORES,
AND THE FOUR CHOSEN STORES ANSWERED BACK
WITH POSITIVE FEEDBACK.
AFTER ACTUALLY VISITING COVENT GARDEN AND
LOOKING MORE INTO THE BRANDS THAT HAVE BEEN
SELECTED FOR THE LAUNCH OF THE TOOLBOX, IT CAME
CLEAR THAT EACH BRAND WOULD FIT PERFECTLY WITH
THE CONCEPT. ALL FOUR BRANDS AIM TO CATER FOR A
YOUNGER AUDIENCE, AND ALL FOUR OF THEM ARE
REALLY DIFFERENT FROM EACHOTHER. HAVING FOUR
DIFFERENT BRANDS IS EXCELLENT FOR THE IDEA, AS IT
WILL ENSURE THAT IT WILL CATER TO A WIDER
AUDIENCE, INSTEAD OF JUST A SELECT GROUP OF YOUNG
PEOPLE. FINDING EACH BRAND AND ACTAULLY GOING
INTO EACH INDIVIDUAL SELECTED STORE IN COVENT
GARDEN REALLY, REALLY BENEFITED THIS ENTIRE
PROJECT, IT GAVE ME THE CHANCE TO SPEAK TO
MEMBERS OF STAFF AND ASK THEM QUESTIONS
REGARDING THE IDEA/TOOLBOX. IT WAS DECIDED THAT
EACH PERSON THAT WAS APPROACHED IN EACH
INDIVIDUAL STORE WOULD BE ASKED THE SAME FIVE
QUESTIONS, THEY HAD TO ANSWER THEM THERE AND
THEN TO SAVE TIME, AND TO JUST GATHER
INFORMATION THAT WAS ACTUALLY NEEDED.
