Letter From The Editor
What’s in a slogan? A slogan is that line that let’s you know what the owner of that slogan is all about. Can you have it your way? Are you eating fresh? Can you hear them now? If so, good. The CSU Saber stands by it’s slogan of being The Student-Run News Service of Columbus State University. But what does that mean? When you break it down, we are a news service, meaning that we provide the news to our audience. Who is the audience we serve? Columbus State University, of course. Most importantly, however, is that we are student-run. That does not simply mean that we are a staff made of students, but that our focus, goals, and mission are run by the students of CSU. We invite students to send in news topics, story ideas, or suggestions for the paper to us at [email protected]. If you feel like you have something to say to the Editor-in-Chief, please send directly to me it as a letter to the editor, to [email protected]. Submissions are posted in the next issue of The Saber. We welcome your feedback, and together we can deliver the best news and be the news service that the campus truly deserves.
