New England Junior Amateur Invitational
Manchester Country Club, Manchester, Vt.
Dates: August 14 - 16 (54-holes of stroke play)
Eligibility: Open to amateur golfers who have not reached their 19th birthday
by the start of the championship.
Team Selection: Top junior golfers from each of the six New England states
are selected by a committee. Players are selected for the team based on
finish in local, regional and national events. The Connecticut Junior Amateur
Champion and Runner-Up receive an automatic invitation.
About the Course: Manchester Country Club is located on some of the most
beautiful countryside in Southern Vermont. Founded in 1967, the course
was originally designed by Geoffrey Cornish and has hosted multiple
Massachusetts Golf Association Championships and USGA Qualifiers.
