The Golf Club at Oxford Greens winds and twists through an everchanging terrain. This course is full of natural preserves, magnificent
landscapes, winding fairways and refined wooded areas. Dotted with
challenging greens, it is home to the CSGA’s 9th Senior Match Play
Championship this year. Oxford Greens’ design was influenced by the
classic works of Seth Raynor and Charles MacDonald, however, its
architect was Mark Mungeam. The 3rd hole is nicknamed “Scoundrel”
and for a good reason, as it is the longest hole in Connecticut,
measuring a whopping 630 yards. This particular hole is a par 5 and
plays up a very steep incline. To say the least, this course is not a walk
in the park.

Yale is an unblemished example of early American golf course
design. Golf Magazine ranks Yale 71st among the 100 most difficult
golf courses in the world. Staircases are needed to climb in and out
of several of its deepest bunkers, and its multi-level fairways and
undulating greens will test even the mo
