JUNIOR GOLF 2015 Connecticut Section PGA Junior Golf Association Membership Registration is Open April 3 – May 30 Happy Spring to all Junior Golfers! The recruiting period for 2015 membership into the Connecticut Section PGA Junior Golf Association for juniors ages 10-18 from Connecticut and Western Massachusetts gets underway on April 3 and extends through May 30. Junior Golf Association- We welcome all previous members to renew your membership as a JGA member this year. Your seasonal membership fee remains at $75. Membership is limited up to 500. Please let your friends know about the Association and the TOUR and hopefully they will join you in a summer of golf and fun! We have some exciting tournaments, timely announcements, and offers for you to review in this communication. Meanwhile, please visit http://www.ctpga.com/juniorgolf/ to familiarize yourself with everything from ranked 36-hole tournaments to PGA Junior League Golf; Connecticut Section PGA Junior Championships; 18-hole TOUR tournaments; Drive Chip, and Putt; and Little Linksters.  A new Calendar of all tournaments and events conducted by the PGA, allied golf associations, and sanctioning groups can be found on the Junior Golf home page  A new discount is offered to JGA Members who enter the open and ranked 36-hole tournaments - $125 for members and $240 for nonmembers (members save on entering even just one event)  The PGA Pro-Junior Invitational, hosted by Great Neck Country Club in Waterford, Conn., is a unique Stableford format for juniors who will be paired with a PGA Professional from the Connecticut Section – click here  All 2015 JGA members will earn Player of the Year points in the 10-12 and 13-18 age group divisions for both boys and girls – top point leaders will be invited to the Jack Kelly PGA Junior Tournament of Champions and will earn spots to represent the Connecticut Section PGA versus the New England Section PGA in the Jim Remy Cup Matches to be held in Western Massachusetts this fall. Drive, Chip, and Putt contests are filling up fast with events close to 40% filled – they are free to enter for 7-15 year olds (JGA membership not required).
