hips for 2015 New England Amateur Championship Baker Hill Golf Club, Newbury, New Hampshire Dates: July 21st - 23rd (72-holes of stroke play) Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who hold membership in a club belonging to one of the six New England State Golf Associations and have an up-to-date USGA/GHIN Handicap Index not exceeding 5.4. About the Course: Located on 260 acres of farmland, Baker Hill Golf Club overlooks Lake Sunapee and offers spectacular views of Mount Sunapee and other New England mountains. The property was purchased in 1998 and renowned architect Rees Jones was selected to design the course. Nine holes were opened for play in 2001, and the full 18 holes opened in June of 2002. New England Senior Amateur Championship Oyster Harbors Club, Osterville, Massachusetts Dates: September 29th - 30th (36-holes of stroke play) Eligibility: Entries are open to amateur golfers who will have reached their 55th birthday by September 16, 2014, hold membership in a club belonging to one of the six New England State Golf Associations and have an up-to-date USGA/GHIN Handicap Index not exceeding 7.5 (for ages 55-64) and 9.4 (for ages 65 and up). About the Course: Located on the south coast of Cape Cod, Oyster Harbors Club is an original Donald Ross design that opened for play in 1926. The course underwent a restoration in 2009, which was completed by Tom Doak, and has hosted many of the region’s top amateur events, including the 2014 Massachusetts Senior Amateur Championship. New England Junior Amateur Invitational Purpoodock Club, Cape Elizabeth, Maine Dates: August 16th - 18th (54-holes of stroke play) Eligibility: Open to amateur golfers who have not reached their 18th birthday by the start of the championship. Team Selection: Top junior golfers from each of the six New England states are selected by a committee. Players are selected for the team based on finish in local, regional and national events. The Connecticut Junior Amateur Champion and Runner-Up receive an automatic invitation. About the Course: Purpoodock Club was founded in 1922 with the original nine holes designed by its first pro, Larry Rowe.
