Château Elan Resort (Pictured): Located less than an hour
from Downtown, Chateau Elan was created in 1981 and quickly
expanded from a winery and charming inn to include four golf
courses, a European-style spa, tennis facilities and even a rockclimbing wall.
Of the resort’s four courses, The Legends Course is the best
one to play on your Atlanta golf vacation. Famed golfers Gene
Sarazen, Sam Snead, and Kathy Whitworth assisted architect Denis
