Social Enterprise

Social Enterprise is a new subject that has been introduced into the curriculum. Therefore, thus far Year 7 is the only year in the whole school that has been taught social enterprise. This allows students to become resilient, independent and active communicators to allow them to become better learners. So far these are the topics that have been covered in this interesting new curriculum:

-Balloon car

-Healthy lifestyle

-Creating a video about the school

-School reporter

-Encouraging people to eat a healthy breakfast at The Crest Academies

-Regenerating Neasden

Approximately 50% of the year 7’s enjoy Social Enterprise. We are grouped in our forms:

Mr Butterworth - 7 Kings

Ms Odgers - 7 Trinity

Ms Warham - 7 Girton

Ms O’regan - 7 Clare

The Year 7’s went on a trip to Wembley as part of their project called Regenerating Neasden. The reason why they went to Wembley was because Wembley has been regenerated massively over the past few years. The main area they focused on was the new Wembley Outlet because it has become a new attraction as many people visit it and shop.
