Chad "Sir Wick" Hughes

I've known Chad for a few years now and have collaborated with him contributing writing for a few of h is projects. I can attest to the fact that he is very innovative when it comes to his craft. Chad is a musician but that doesn't sum up his talent completely as he also writes, produces, directs, teaches and performs. Here is my interview with Chad Hughes.

So Chad if you were to sum up your latest creative accomplishments in simply five of bullet points, what would you share with us?

* PhD candidate in Music Composition at LSU

* My first album "An Interpretation of a Universal Language" was named by Soulbrother.com's top 10 albums of 2008

* First Black high school band director in Topeka Kansas

* Has played with Aretha Franklin, Kid Rock, Dwele, and the Temptations

* Arranged for Alcorn State University, University of Michigan, Montana State University

Those are all very impressive. Now, what do you have in mind for the near future? Any current projects in development?

A Tale of Two Fools will be out in May. It's a novical: novel with a musical experience.

Summary of A Tale of Two Fools:

Eliezer “Eli” Brooks is a music major whose main objective is perfection. He works tirelessly in a practice room to become the best trumpeter in the world but his dedication to his music makes him a social hermit. Despite his focus, he unexpectedly falls in love with Alexandra Hylton: a young MBA student who is being courted to work for a major-marketing firm post-graduation. Although she loves Eli, Alexandra realizes that her life may be better by returning to her ex-boyfriend Harrison, a six-figure executive who can give her everything she desires.

Will Eli find true love with Alexandra or will she return to her former love?

Thank you so much for this brief but potent interview Mr. Hughes, and we look forward to joining you on your musical adventures.
