ADDICTED TO COWORKING
I guess I ’ m what you would call a ‘ location independent professional ’, a ‘ part-time digital nomad ’. When starting freelancer , I made sure none of my clients would really care where I was located . I started out working from home and after a couple of months I was ready to travel . is every coworking space like that ?
I tried another one , and another one , and met so many people , both users and owners of spaces . I ’ m addicted to it . The community , the vibe , it ’ s a mix of ambition and fun . Daredevils , all in one way or another .
By chance , I found a location at the Spanish island Tenerife , and they offered accommodation combined with coworking . I was travelling on my own and thought ‘ sure , why not ?’ At least it would be an easy way to meet some people .
When talking about that first experience now , I always tell people that ’ s where I found my ‘ tribe ’. Throughout my life , I was always the one with different dreams and a different vision , but at this coworking space , for the first time everyone seemed to just ‘ get ’ me .
