Veterans were honored
by Daughters of American
Revolution in Rockdale
County Tuesday in a special
ceremony celebrating the
40th anniversary of the end
of the Vietnam War.
“We are indeed grateful
to be recognized and
honored by these ladies,”
said Pete Mecca, writer of
“A Veteran’s Story.” “It is our
coming home party.”

The Vietnam Moving Wall comes to Rockdale
The Vietnam Moving Wall is coming to the Walk of Heroes Memorial
May 6-12.
The wall will allow area residents a chance to honor the Vietnam
War generation on the 40th anniversary observance of the ending of
