“ Madison and I did mock interviews and prepping together ,” Williamson said . “ For us both to end up winning was really weird .”
Miller helped recruit Williamson for the competition .
“ She has a heart to serve military veterans , much like myself ,” Miller said . “ She is a phenomenal leader in the community and an asset to Coshocton . She is an incredible dancer .
She is the embodiment of Miss Ohio ’ s Outstanding Teen . We had numerous phone calls in the weeks leading up to the Miss North Coast Scholarship Competition to prepare for interviews . As her official ‘ Miss ’ for the next year , I have a commitment to her to be a role model , support system , cheerleader and friend .
“ I doubt there is a more unstoppable duo than two empowered women who are determined to help our nation ’ s veterans .
I know our year together just started , but I think we will need another year together , so we will just need to win Miss Ohio and Miss Ohio ’ s Outstanding Teen together . We are so proud to be representing Coshocton , our veterans and the Miss North Coast Scholarship organization at Miss Ohio next June .”
Miller is a 2022 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and the social media specialist for Stanley Steemer . She also is the founder of the 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) organization , The Veteran Narrative , advocating for military veterans by capturing their stories to share with the world . Miller continues to work on her nonprofit , and Williamson plans to create a movement reminding people veterans are heroes of today .
“ We may not have superman ,” Williamson said . “ We may not have the Hulk , but we do have
our veterans . I plan to go to schools , do fundraisers and work with Madison a lot .”
Williamson is thankful for her upcoming opportunities and said it all started with the chance to serve the community as canal queen .
“ That is the base of everything I ’ ve started here ,” she said . “ I wouldn ’ t be where I am today without having done that . I ’ ve even talked a few friends
into running for canal queen . Being canal queen changed my life . I ’ ve gotten to go to festivals , meet people and represent Roscoe Village .”

Madison Miller was recently crowned Miss North Coast , and Aliah Williamson was named the North Coast Outstanding Teen . Miller is a graduate of Coshocton High School and Ohio Wesleyan University . Williamson is a junior at River View High School .
