CHS tops West M in varsity volleyball action on Sept . 1
Thursday night , Sept . 1 in Zanesville , the Coshocton Redskins volleyball team took care of business as they beat host West Muskingum in straight sets by the scores of : 25-13 , 25-14 , and 25-14 .
Lindsey Bryant had a solid overall performance for the ‘ Skins as she racked up six kills , four aces , three blocks and 10 digs - which led the team in each of those categories .
Jalynn West was the assist leader with 18 . Kenidi Jackson contributed five kills and two aces and Miyah Davis had six digs .
In the JV match , the reserves picked up their first win of the season by beating West M in a three-set match by the scores of 26-24 , 19-25 , 25-17 .
Maggie Laaper led the way offensively with nine kills and three ace serves . Sophia McFadden added six kills while Jaeli Tiedt served up eight aces and dished out eight assists .
