Board of DD hosts food-packing event on Sept . 1
The Coshocton County Board of DD and the Coshocton Foundation partnered together to host a OneMeal Food Packing Event with Kids Around the World to benefit local food banks and impoverished children around the world . The event was held Sept . 1 at Hopewell School and included volunteers from the DD community and many others .
Board Superintendent Steve Oster said they will send out 30,240 meals to Kids Around the World , and 8,856 meals will stay local for the community .
