CHS volleyball wins
On Thursday night , Aug . 25 in McConnelsville , the Coshocton Redskins volleyball team picked up an MVL victory by sweeping Morgan with the scores of 25-11 , 25-17 and 25-17 .
Senior setter Jalynn West had a solid night , filling up the stat sheet with 25 assists , five kills , nine digs and two solo blocks .
Senior pin-hitter Lindsay Bryant led the offensive attack with 12 kills while Kenidi Jackson added 10 .
Defensively , the ‘ Skins were led by Miyah Davis , who had 18 digs ; Jackson , who added nine ; and Addy Gordon , who dug up six Raider attacks . Gordon also led at the service line

with three aces .
In the reserve contest , Morgan pulled out a threeset victory by the scores of 20-25 , 25-11 , 25-9 .
The JV ‘ Skins were led on offense by Sophia McFadden with eight kills while Jaeli Tiedt dished out 10 assists . On Tuesday night , Aug . 30 in the Wigwam , the Coshocton Redskins volleyball team was defeated by New Lexington by the scores of 18-25 , 23-25 , 16-25 .
Leaders for Coshocton were Jalynn West with 20 assists and two blocks , Lindsay Bryant with seven kills and 11 digs , and Kenidi Jackson with six kills and eight digs .

RHS volleyball falls to Conotton Valley
Ridgewood lost to Conotton Valley by scores of 21-25 , 19-25 , 26-24 and 19-25 .
The Lady Generals were led by Kaelynn Robinson with 36 digs , 10 kills , one ace and two points ; Kelley Masloski with 18 assists , six digs and two blocks ; Kya Masloski with 17 digs , four kills , three assists , two blocks , one ace and 10 points ; Kaiedence Smith with nine aces , seven points and seven digs ; Megan Mainwaring with eight kills , six digs and one block ; Kadin Belt and Haylee Adkins with 10 digs ; and Anyssa Cutlip with six kills .

RV boys hold golf match
The River View boys golf team fell to Meadowbrook in a varsity match on Aug . 26 at Hickory Flats .
Individual scores for the Black Bears were Caleb Kline with 83 , Thad Cox with 81 , Peyton Everhart with 100 and Isaiah Carpenter with 114 .
Junior high golfers win
The River View junior high golf team picked up a win on Aug . 30 with a team score of 126 compared to Strasburg ’ s 188 .

McPeck sets record
On Aug . 31 RVHS competed in a Tri-Match at Hickory Flats against West M and Sheridan . The team results are as follows : River View with 191 , Sheridan with 205 and West M with 218 .
Individual results were Paige Nicely with 42 and match medalist , Caily Shriver with 56 , Chloey Geog with 50 , Kortnee Mickle with 48 , and Kiera McPeck with 51 and a personal record .
