Lady Redskins volleyball scores
Coshocton Redskins volleyball team picked up a home victory with a straightset win over visiting Cambridge . Scores were 25-14 , 25-11 and 25-17 .
Leading the way for the Redskins ’ offense was Jalynn West with 27 assists , setting up attackers Lindsey Bryant , who posted 11 kills , and Hailey Helter , who pounded eight .
Defensively , Miyah Davis collected 13 digs while Helter dug up 12 Bobcat attacks and Ella Bible and Addy Gordon each recorded nine . Bryant and Bible each had three ace serves for the victors .
It was a clean sweep for the Redskins as they posted victories in both the JV and sub-varsity matches as well .
In the junior varsity contest , Coshocton defeated Cambridge by the scores of 25-19 and 25-18 .
Jillian Given had 10 assists , three kills and two aces for the Redskins . Lacey Guthrie led the offense with four kills while Jaiden Arnold added three .
In the sub-varsity match , Coshocton won by the scores of 25-11 and 25-9 .
Sophia McFadden served up eight aces for the Redskins .
The visiting Tri Valley Scotties volleyball team then earned a straight-sets victory over the Redskins by the scores of 25-10 , 25-6 and 25-14 .

In the JV contest , Tri Valley prevailed in a hard-fought contest by the scores of 24-26 , 25-21 and 27-25 .
For Coshocton , Jillian Given had 17 assists and five aces . Jaiden Arnold had eight kills , and Jaeli Tiedt led the defense with eight digs .
In the other sub-varsity match , Tri Valley posted a 25-8 , 25-21 victory . For Coshocton , Sophia McFadden had three kills .
At New Concord the Coshocton Redskins volleyball team fell in four sets to the Muskies . The scores were 18-25 , 20-25 , 25-19 and 20-25 .
Leaders for the Redskins were Lindsey Bryant with 12 kills and 12 digs , Jalynn West with 28 assists and six digs , Hailey Helter with eight kills and 12 digs , and Miyah Davis with 25 digs .
In the JV match it was Coshocton defeating John Glenn in straight sets : 25-22 and 25-16 .
Jillian Given had 11 assists , five kills and three ace serves ; Leah Mathias had five kills and two aces ; and Jaeli Tiedt collected five digs .
In the other sub-varsity match , Coshocton defeated John Glenn 25-17 , 25-22 .
Sophia McFadden pounded nine kills while Jillian Urban dished out 11 assists . The Redskins captured an MVL victory at The Power Plant in Philo . They beat the Electrics by the scores of 17-25 , 25-20 , 25-19 and 25-23 .
It was a total team effort for the Redskins as they had several players who filled up the stat sheet . Lindsay Bryant led the team with 12 kills while also contributing with 14 digs and three ace serves . Jalynn West dished out 29 assists and added seven kills and 11 digs . The JV ‘ Skins played in another marathon match but fell to the Electrics by the scores of 20-25 , 25-19 and 31-33 .
For Coshocton , Jillian Given had 17 assists and an ace serve while Saige Abbott pounded six kills .
In the other sub-varsity match , Coshocton and Philo split a pair of sets . Coshocton won the first 25-11 but fell in set number two 25-19 .
For Coshocton , Jillian Urban had five assists while Leah Mathias had five kills .
Ridgewood
Matusik dishes out 42 assists
Ridgewood volleyball defeated Garaway by scores of 25-18 , 21-25 , 29-27 and 25-23 .
The Generals were led by Ella Matusik with 42 assists , four kills , four blocks , seven digs , five points and three aces ; Hannah Maust with 20 kills , three blocks , 10 digs and two points ; Karissa Gress with nine kills , eight blocks , four digs , four points and three aces ; Kaelynn Robinson with five kills , eight digs , two blocks , eight points and three aces ; Kaiedence Smith with nine digs , one kill , 15 points and two aces ; and Kadin Belt with five digs , two points and one ace .

RVHS boys golf in Byesville
River View boys varsity golf played Sept . 20 at the Cambridge Country Club in Byesville . The Black Bears only had two competing and did not have a team score . Their individual scores were Thad Cox with 99 and Josh Woolard with 108 .
On Sept . 16 they competed against Morgan at Hickory Flats . Thad Cox

was the medalist with a 47 , and Josh Woolard had a 52 .
They also faced Marysville at Hickory Flats . Thad Cox recorded a 43 , and Josh Woolard had a 54 at this match .
Junior high Bears win at
Hickory Flats
On Sept . 16 the River View Junior High golf team played against Edison and Sheridan .
Teams scores were River View , 163 ; Sheridan , 206 ; and Edison , 233 . The Black Bears were led by Gavin Gress , 36 , medalist ; Colton Gress , 39 ; Brynn Harstine , 43 ; Taylor Harstine , 45 ; Caleb Kline , 46 ; and Clark Frischen , 50 .
