Celesta Francis ( Lauvray ) Hamilton

Celesta Francis ( Lauvray ) Hamilton , 100 , passed away peacefully on Saturday , Sept . 12 , 2020 , at Altercare Coshocton .
She was born on July 4 , 1920 to the late Martin and Lezetta ( Sarbaugh ) Lauvray in Muskingum County . She married Gerald Hamilton on Oct . 10 , 1942 . He preceded her in death on Nov . 1 , 2002 .
She will be greatly missed by her sons , Dale ( Mary ) Hamilton and Steve ( Linda ) Hamilton ; six grandchildren , Kasey ( Gina ) Brown , Tammy ( Michael ) Whiteus , Jim ( Amy ) Hamilton , Kristi ( Sam ) White , Jerry Hamilton and Michael ( Jaime ) Hunt ; two step-grandchildren ,

In addition to her parents and husband , she was preceded in death by her daughter , Barbara ; brothers , Martin , John , Clarence , George & Francis and sisters , Viola and Margaret .
Graveside services were held at Memory Gardens on Tuesday , Sept . 15 , 2020 at 1:30 p . m . with Pastor Dairel Kaiser officiating .
The Free Funeral Home in Coshocton is handling the arrangements .

COTC has accelerated courses starting Oct . 19

Central Ohio Technical College is adapting to meet the current needs of students by offering a selection of accelerated-format ( eight weeks versus 15 weeks ) general education courses during the second term of autumn semester .
All courses will be taught remotely , offering peace of mind during the coronavirus pandemic . Also , the courses offered can count toward an associate degree at COTC or transfer to any public college or university in the state of Ohio , offering students another flexible option to pursue a degree during the pandemic .
For students who want to fast-track their career by earning a technical degree at COTC but were unable to begin in August ,
second-term classes are a great opportunity to get started now on a degree path . At COTC , students also can stay at home this autumn and take many of the freshman and sophomore courses found at fouryear universities for a fraction of the cost .
Second-term courses will begin Monday , Oct . 19 . The application for admission is due Monday , Oct . 12 , and students must be registered by Oct . 19 . These courses are financial aid eligible for students enrolled in a degree pathway at COTC . To be considered for financial aid , students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www . studentaid . ed . gov . Coshocton County residents may be eligible for free tuition
