Redskins net 8-0 victory The Redskins varsity boys soccer team recently picked up an 8-0 victory .
Alex Laaper , Jarrod Roudabush and Zane Bryant each scored a pair of goals . Adam George and Ayden Stein added a goal . Skylar Dobson picked up three assists , and Alec Laaper , Zane Bryant , Brody Hammersley and Auden Stein all had one assist . Isaac Dickerson picked up the shutout with three saves in goal .
CHS volleyball has rough week
On Thursday night , Sept . 10 in the Wigwam ,
the Coshocton Redskins volleyball team fell to New Lexington in straight sets by the scores of 21-25 , 18-25 and 20-25 .
The Redskins ’ attack was led by Kindall Shaw and Hailey Helter , each with six kills , while Belle Miller added five . Jalynn West tallied 20 assists .
Defensively , Helter led the way with 18 digs while Miyah Davis dug up 15 Panther attacks .
At the service line , Ella Bible collected three aces .
In the JV contest , Coshocton prevailed in a hard-fought , three-set match : 25-17 , 20-25 and 25-21 .
Jaiden Arnold slammed six kills for the Redskins while Savanna Bartlett and Alison Cox each added four . Cox also led at the service line with four aces while Addy Gordon added three .
On Saturday afternoon , Sept . 12 at Coshocton , the Redskins volleyball team fell in a fiveset match to cross-county rival Ridgewood by the scores of 17-25 , 21-25 , 25-19 , 25-22 and 14-16 .
Leaders for Coshocton were Hailey Helter , 12 kills , 24 digs and four blocks ; Kindall Shaw , 11 kills , 17 digs , two blocks and a service ace ; Lindsay Bryant , 10 kills , 14 digs and three service aces ; and Belle Miller , 10 kills . Jalynn West led the team with 46 assists , and Miyanh Davis led the team with 25 digs .
In the JV match , it was Ridgewood beating Coshocton by the scores of 25-10 , 15-25 and 25-15 .
Savanna Bartlet led the Redskins with six kills . Alison Cox had four kills and three aces .
On Tuesday evening , Sept . 15 in McConnelsville , the Coshocton Redskins fell to Morgan in a Muskingum Valley League matchup by the scores of 20-25 , 25-23 , 18-25 and 19-25 .
Leaders for Coshocton were Lindsay Bryant , nine kills , 13 digs and three service aces ; Kindall Shaw , eight kills , 13 digs and three service aces ; and Jalynn West , 12 digs and 26 assists .
In the JV match , the Redskins fell to Morgan in straight sets , 15-25 and 20-25 .
Alison Cox had four kills , and Destiny Danielek collected three .
On Thursday night , Sept . 17 in the Wigwam , Coshocton fell to John Glenn in a five-set thriller by the scores of 26-28 , 18-25 , 15-25 , 25-17 and 6-15 .
Leading the offense was Kindall Shaw with 13 kills while Belle Miller and Ella Bible each added eight . Defensively , Shaw led with 18 digs while Miyah Davis added 16 and Hailey Helter collected 13 . Jalynn West had 35 assists and also led the ‘ Skins with three service aces .
In the JV match , Coshocton was defeated by John Glenn . The scores were 17-25 , 25-19 and 12-25 . Addy Gordon had five service aces for the Redskins .

Kilpatrick named medalist
Ridgewood ’ s boys defeated TCC in a golf match at River Greens on Sept . 10 . Charlie Kilpatrick was the match medalist with a 45 . Other scores were Benny Shuck , 50 ; Lexi Zimmer , 51 ; Braden Bookless , 52 ; Zach Evin , 55 ; and Copper King , 65 .
Ridgewood fell to Sandy Valley on Sept . 17 , 195-185 . The Generals were led by Charlie Kilpatrick ( medalist ), 40 ; Benny Shuck , 45 ; Zach Evin , 55 ; Braden Bookless , 55 ; and Cooper King , 66 .
On Sept . 16 the Generals lost to Strasburg 198-169 . The Generals were led by Charlie Kilpatrick , 42 ; Zach Evin , 50 ; Cooper King , 52 ; Benny Shuck , 54 ; and Braden Bookless , 56 .

The Generals were led by Madisyn Colvin , 17 kills , 19 digs , two blocks , 11 points and three aces ; Kassidy Alexander , 10 kills , 10 digs , three blocks , four points and two aces ; Ella Matusik , 46 assists , eight digs , four points and two aces ; Karissa Gress , seven kills and five blocks ; and Hannah Maust , seven kills , three blocks , 12 digs and nine points .
Ridgewood then defeated Coshocton by scores of 25-17 , 25-21 , 19-25 , 22-25 and 16-14 .

Leading the Lady Generals were Madisyn Colvin , 12 kills , 12 digs , one block , six points and six aces ; Hannah Maust , 15 kills , 11 digs , three blocks , six points and one ace ; Ella Matusik , 31 assists , five digs , one block , five points and two aces ; Kassidy Alexander , 14 digs , three blocks , 11 points and four aces ; Karissa Gress , six kills , three blocks , three digs , four points and two aces ; Paige Slusser , six kills , four digs and one block ; and Lindsay Griffith , three digs , five points and one ace .
Ridgewood defeated Garaway at home by scores of 25-19 , 25-17 , 24-26 and 25-17 .

RVHS shares volleyball scores
River View won against Philo in three sets : 25-13 , 25-19 and 25-20 . Cayla Shrimplin had 19 digs , and Kayla Dulgar had 15 kills and 21 assists .
River View lost a heartbreaker on Sept . 12 in five sets to Tri-Valley . Leading the way for the Black Bears were Bell Justice , 18 assists ; Cayla Shrimplin , 15 digs ; Kayla Dulgar , 15 kills , 20 assists and 10 digs ; and Ki Stamper , 11 kills and 18 digs .
The Lady Bears lost to Sheridan in three sets on Sept . 15 by scores of 9-25 , 13-25 and 18-25 .
River View was led by Cayla Shrimplin with 11 digs and Kayla Dulgar with 15 assists and 11 digs .
River View picked up a win in threestraight sets against West Muskingum . Ashlyn Bible , Cayla Shrimplin , Kayla Dulgar and Ki Stamper each had 12 digs . Ashley Newell added 12 kills , and Kayla Dulgar also had 37 assists .
Bahmer leads RVHS in golf
River View ’ s boys golf team took on West Muskingum and Meadowbrook on Sept . 10 at Hickory Flats .
River View was third with a team score of 221 . Leading the way was Austin Bahmer , 42 ; Coen Bible , 54 ; Thad Cox , 59 ; and Josh Woolard , 66 .
On Sept . 17 the boys defeated Morgan 205-240 . River View was led by Austin Bahmer ( medalist ), 44 ; Coen Bible , 47 ; Thad Cox , 55 ; and Josh Woolard , 59 .
