Highway patrol to have bigger presence in town
At the Sept . 14 Coshocton City Council meeting , Mayor Mark Mills announced that due to issues of speeding on the streets of Coshocton and the sheriff ’ s office being in a state of transition at the moment , he has chosen to allow State Highway Patrol officers to monitor speeding in town . Therefore , residents should not be surprised should they see State Highway Patrol vehicles and officers in town or stopping residents who are not abiding by the law .
