Farm Bureau is moving kids fun area

By Josie Sellers
The Coshocton County Farm Bureau is moving its kids fun area from commercial building number two to the junior fair arena .
“ Our goal with this area is to give kids that are younger than 4-H age a place to go have some fun and families to sit and relax ,” said Kayla Jones , Farm Bureau organizational director .
The area will be set up by the arena ’ s doors facing the midway .
“ It was sort of a forgotten area ,” Jones said . “ There is an extra door there to the junior fair board office . Eventually , we will be able to put a door up to close it off .”
The best part about the area is it puts them right with the people they want to serve but is accessible to others .
“ We will still be seen and closer to the people we want to connect with ,” said Kayla Durbin , Coshocton Farm Bureau president . “ It will be easier on our volunteers too to be closer to their projects .”
Two highlights of the family fun area will be its corn box and a scavenger hunt for families to complete . Once the scavenger hunt is complete , they will be able to receive free ice cream from the Coshocton County Dairy Service Unit .
