Coshocton County Fair
6 running for Coshocton County Fair Royalty Court
Five young ladies and one gentleman are running for the Coshocton County Fair Royalty Court .
Queen contestants are Ashlyn Tumblin , Taryn Tumblin , Kaytee Rice , Brooklyn Nelson and Emily Fechuch . The king contestant is Conley Weber .
Ashlyn Tumblin is the daughter of Andrew and Kristi Tumblin . She is a senior at River View High School . She has spent 12 years in 4-H with Trailblazer and Winner and four years in the River View FFA chapter .
“ The Coshocton County Fair to me means being able to connect with people and agriculture ,” she said . “ I love working with my animals and seeing all the youth put in the hard work of getting their animals ready to show too . The fair is a place where I can build relationships with so many people , and I love the aspect of all the different events and attractions .”
Taryn Tumblin also is the daughter of Andrew and Kristi Tumblin . She is a senior at River View High School . She has spent 12 years in 4-H with Trailblazer and Winner and four years in the River View FFA chapter . “ The Coshocton County Fair is a place for

the whole community to attend and be involved in to show our proud accomplishments and achievements and enjoy a fun-filled week with friends and family ,” she said . “ Our fair is a place that showcases and educates about agriculture .”
Rice is the daughter of Carrie Hamlett . She is a senior at River View High School . She has been in 4-H for nine years with the Go Getters .

Nelson is the daughter of Scott and Jennifer Nelson . She is a senior at Coshocton High School . She has been in 4-H for nine years with Active Achievers .
“ When I think of the Coshocton County Fair , I am always reminded of the feeling of community ,” she said . “ Throughout the whole week , everyone is so excited to show off what they have worked on throughout the year . As my 4-H years went on , my outlook has grown . Everyone ’ s story is different , but I truly enjoy when all the clubs come together to create the best fair week .”
Fechuch is the daughter of Matt and Billie Jo

( late ) Fechuch . She is a senior at Ridgewood High School . She has been in 4-H for eight years with This-N-That .
“ The county fair has always been a part of my life , from coming to enjoy rides when I was in first grade with my friends to being able to show goats when I was old enough to show ,” she said . “ The Coshocton County Fair is the event of the year with the best memories , and I cherish every year of this special week .”
Weber is the son of Aimee Weber . He is a senior at River View High School . He has spent 12 years in 4-H with Superior Livestock and four years in the River View FFA chapter .
“ I have gone to our county fair for as long as I can remember ,” he said . “ I have met many new

friends . I have had memories that you would only get by going to our county fair . Our fair has been a big part of my life .”
The second interview for the contestants will be held at the Hunter Arena on Friday , Sept . 27 at 5 p . m . with a panel of judges to interview all candidates to determine the Coshocton County Fair king and queen at the opening ceremony .
