Museum hosts lunchtime event
Meet Me at the Museum will be held Tuesday , Sept . 27 from noon to 1 p . m . This is the second installment of the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum ’ s lunchtime program . Bring a lunch or have some snacks on the museum as people gather together and discuss a new topic each time they meet .
The second program will be all about apples . Participate in an apple tasting of Ohio-grown varieties , along with some cheese pairings and recipe suggestions . Attendees also will take

No registration is needed . This program is offered at no charge and made possible by the support of the Ohio Arts Council .

Sept . 24 benefit planned to help Richard Tipton
A benefit will be held Saturday , Sept . 24 from 11 a . m . to 4 p . m . at J & R Door for Richard Tipton , who was diagnosed in May with stage-three testicular cancer . He will undergo several rounds of chemo in hopes to successfully cure his cancer .
