Seven Sisters Yoga Villa opens on South Sixth Street

Michelle Turner Ganz is excited to share her love of yoga with the community .
Ganz recently opened Seven Sisters Yoga Villa at 745 S . Sixth St ., where she and Chris Campbell teach classes . Monthly schedules are posted on Facebook , and Ganz tries to explain classes to those who might not be familiar with yoga .
“ This has been in the

works for a while ,” Ganz said . “ In 2020 my daughter Lyric and I were supposed to go to Guatemala for training , but it got canceled due to COVID . We ended up going to Tennessee for 30 days of extensive training . It was a really neat experience . There really wasn ’ t a place in town for people to do yoga anymore , and I felt it was needed .”
In addition to offering classes , Ganz would like to

do retreats , create a bigger studio space and an area for outdoor yoga . Plans also are in the works for bed and breakfast rooms .
“ I ’ d like to do weekend retreats and partner with others in the community and help bring people to Coshocton ,” Ganz said . “ My sister , Lyric and I did end up going to Guatemala and did a sacred ceremony training . We are planning

our first of those on Sept . 24 . It ’ s a little different , but I think it ’ s something people will be able to relate to .”
Ganz ’ s favorite part of teaching yoga is being able to share a message with people .
“ I like helping people and helping them make decisions that are good for them ,” she said . “ This is an opportunity to make people feel better .”

Classes are $ 15 for adults and $ 9 for children age 12 and under , or people can choose from a variety of class passes . Space is limited , so Ganz asked that people message them to hold their space . Yoga mats are available , but people are welcome to bring their own .
“ I think everybody can benefit from yoga ,” Ganz said . “ It can help with posture and strength , and there is a mental part to it . You focus on yourself and the present .”
