Aaron Jerold Ball passed away on Sunday , October 2 , 2022 , at his home . He was 52 years old .
Aaron was born in Athens County , Ohio on June 23 , 1970 .
He is survived by his loving parents ; Jerold and Sue Ball of West Lafayette , Ohio , two sisters ; Lisa ( Ball ) Maxwell and Diana ( Ball ) Burdette , nephew ; Brandon Stewart , niece ; Morgan Maxwell , nephew ; Connor Burdette , and his two special uncles ; Darrell ( Peggy ) Ball , and Dennis ( Brenda ) Ball .
Aaron was a 1989 honor student graduate of Coshocton High School , where he was an outstanding swimmer on the school ’ s swim team . He also attended Miami University in Oxford , Ohio .
Aaron loved soaking in knowledge of all sorts , from the most esoteric and philosophical , to pop culture and everything in between . He could – and would – debate anyone on
Martha Sue Henry , 79 , of Coshocton passed away at Altercare of Coshocton on Friday September 30 , 2022 .
Martha was born in Coshocton on August 17 , 1943 , to the late Albert and Winefread ( Powell ) Ames .
She is survived by her three children Tammy ( Chris ) McVay , Tina Henry both of Coshocton and ToRay ( Darcy ) Henry of Sunbury ; eight grandchildren ; ten great grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews .
Along with her parents , she is preceded in death by her sisters Lois Swails and Virginia Johnson .

Agnes E . Bechtol , age 92 , of Coshocton , passed away peacefully on Monday , September 26 , 2022 . She was born on September 11 , 1930 , in West Union , West Virginia to the late Lloyd and Mary ( Spurr ) Demastus .
She graduated from Victory High School and attended the Cleveland Bible College , where she met the love of her life , Fred Bechtol . They were married on April 10 , 1953 and spent 57 wonderful years together until Fred ’ s passing on June 26 , 2010 .
Agnes was a member of the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene and was a church greeter for many years . She and her husband Fred volunteered for the American Red Cross for many years and she volunteered at the Senior Center in Coshocton . Agnes was an award-winning candymaker at the Coshocton County Fair and enjoyed baking , especially pies and cookies . She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and will be remembered for her kindness and love she showed to others .
She is survived by her two daughters , Winnie Ellis of Coshocton and Melody ( Doug ) Albertson of Dresden ; four grandchildren , Nathan ( Jillian ) Holmes , Jonathan ( Amanda ) Holmes PhD , Melanie ( Zach ) Binckley and Garret ( Cassady ) Albertson ;

six great-grandchildren , Aurora , Ashlynn , Matera , Julian , Bristol and Van ; and by her sister , Orpha Swiger .
Along with her parents and husband , Agnes is preceded in death by her son-in-law , John Ellis and siblings , James and Donald Demastus , Betty Hochadel , Mildred Dotson and Ella Stewart .
Calling hours were held on Friday , September 30 , 2022 , from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Given- Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday . A funeral service was held on Saturday , October 1 , 2022 at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Ward officiating . Burial will followed at Coshocton County Memory Gardens .

Voters will have an opportunity to meet the candidates of local elections on Thursday , Oct . 13 at the Coshocton County Career Center , 23640 Airport Road , Coshocton . Co-sponsored by Coshocton Business and Professional Women and Coshocton County Farm Bureau , the event will begin with a community meet and greet from 6:30-7 p . m ., followed by the candidates forum from 7-9 p . m .
WTNS will broadcast the candidates forum live with on-air personality Jeremy Scott serving as moderator and presenting questions based upon issues identified within the community . For anyone unable to attend or listen to the event live , WTNS will broadcast the recorded version the following day during the morning Talk Show program .

committee co-chairs of this year ’ s event .
Smith described the event as an opportunity for each candidate to share a few minutes identifying the community needs and potential responses and philosophies unique to each candidate . While it is not a debate , it is intended to offer the community a chance to hear from the candidates directly .
Smith said all candidates registered for this year ’ s local elections have been invited to attend . She said both candidates for the contested race for Coshocton County auditor , incumbent Christine Sycks and challenger Grant Daugherty , have responded with their intentions to participate .
