Always having the goal of filling the needs of his customers is exactly why owner Dirk Visser , Jr . decided to expand the business and now offers engine and transmission service , electrical and diagnostics , along with regular maintenance and repairs . “ We have expanded and are now capable of offering full-service auto repair for all car , SUV and pickup truck repairs ,” owner Dirk Visser , Jr . said . “ Our brandnew , 12,000-square-foot , state-of-the-art facility , right across the street from the original Trail Tire shop , has 12 auto bays for services like alignments , air-conditioning service , drive train repair , engine and transmission service and so much more . These added services allow us to be a one-stop

shop for our customers .”

Since 2012 when Visser sold his tire shop in Northern New York and moved his family to Dundee and opened Trail Tire , he has worked hard to provide this community with tire , brake and wheel services . Along the way , Visser and his sons , who work alongside him in this true family owned and operated business , realized the need to expand in order to truly serve their customers . The word has spread about Trail Tire , and people are recommending them now to family members and future generations .

“ We were getting calls all the time asking about providing additional services , and we were redirecting them to other shops ,” Visser said . “ We had to turn the business down because our original facility just couldn ’ t handle the extra traffic and volume of services . We were bursting at the seams . It was time to expand and meet the needs of the community and offer our customers all the services they need with the same expertise , integrity and level of service they have come to expect from Trail Tire .”

Visser said that now , with the new facility across the street , they can fill most customer service and repair needs while offering a comfortable waiting area with restrooms and 12 bays with plenty of room for technicians to work in a clean , bright and friendly environment .
