Fall Foliage and Farm Tour features North Central Coshocton
The Coshocton County Fall Foliage and Farm Tour was held Oct . 19-20 .
This year ’ s tour was approximately 53 miles long and featured North Central Coshocton County including Bethlehem , Clark , Keene , Millcreek and Tuscarawas townships .
Maps were picked up at the Coshocton County County Fairgrounds . Stop two was the J . D . Lawrentz Farm , where attendees learned about sheep . The next stop was Endsley Farms , where Todd and Leanne Endsley and their four children are the third and fourth generations raising beef cattle on the family farm . The fourth stop was Warren Lapp and Son Farm , where the family produces non-GMO corn and soybeans on approximately 3,000 acres .
Those on the tour then went to the River View High School FFA Farm . The farm is 265 acres and gives students the opportunity to experience raising crops and livestock .
Stop number six was the Heritage Vineyard Winery , where Randy and Tina Endsley and their two sons Brandon and Brent have been making wine since 2009 . Next was the lunch stop at Gospel Hill Ministry and a drive-by of the Helmick Covered Bridge . Then longhorns and other livestock were available for up-close adventures at the Bonnie Glen Farm . The tour wrapped up at Daugherty Farms , which showcased its robotic milking operation .
