Joseph L . Ridenbaugh , 87 , of Walhonding passed away at his home on Monday , Oct . 11 , 2021 surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness .
He was born Nov . 30 , 1933 at home in Tiverton to the late Josiah A . and Mary M . ( Hoberg ) Ridenbaugh .
Joe spent his entire life in Tiverton Township where he and his wife Margaret farmed and raised their four children . In his early years , he enjoyed square dancing , playing baseball , golfing , pitching horseshoes , hunting , fishing and visiting with family and friends . He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren ’ s sporting events , golf , the Cincinnati Reds , NASCAR , the
Mary Ruth Chase-Carey , 65 , died Thursday , Oct . 14 , 2021 , at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville .
She was born Sept . 12 , 1956 , in Millersburg , daughter of the late Robert J . and R . Alene ( Courtright ) Chase . She was a 1974 graduate of River View High School , a graduate of Bowling Green University , and earned her Master ’ s of Education from Ashland College . She taught at River View High School for many years , where she was active in leading many various clubs and organizations .

His work career started on the family farm and with the township before serving active duty in the US Army as a small arms repairman . Joe was stationed in Germany from 1954-1956 where he received a National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal . He was honorably discharged in 1962 from the Army Reserves while working for Warsaw School as a bus driver and at the Warsaw Mill until he began in carpentry with Don Daliere Construction . She was a former principal at East Knox Schools prior to her retirement .
Mary enjoyed watching her sons and grandchildren participate in sports activities and other functions . She was a regular attendee at different area churches , where she was involved in choir , Bible study , and other church functions .

Robert W . Manson Sr .

Robert William Manson , Sr ., 80 , died Tuesday , Oct . 12 , 2021 , at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center .
He was born Dec . 3 , 1940 , in Columbus to the late Theodore “ Ted ” and Gertrude ( Lambert ) Manson . He was a 1958 graduate of Coshocton High School , and later attended Ohio University . He spent most of his early years in Nelsonville , and retired from General Electric in 1984 as an engineer .
Bob had many hobbies , including Ham radio , restoring antique radios , and genealogy , including a book on his mom ’ s Lambert side of the family and research into the Manson family and marking many graves in cemeteries . He struggled with Diabetes most of his life , but was always busy with one of his many hobbies and interests until health problems prevented him from doing so .
He is survived wife , Linda D . ( Wilt ) Manson of Coshocton , whom he married Feb . 16 , 1962 ; and a
Hallie Carey ; also an aunt Betty Lillibridge ; and many cousins .
Per Mary ’ s wishes , a private family graveside service will take place at South Lawn Cemetery , where she will be laid to rest with her parents . The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements . www . fischerfuneralhome . com

Sandra Dixon Palmer Fitchett , 67 , of Metamora Mich . went home to be with the Lord on Sunday , Oct . 10 , 2021 , with her loving family by her side after her battle with cancer .
Sandy was born to the late Lula and Pete Dixon on June 19 , 1954 , and grew up in Conesville . She married Danny Fitchett on Oct . 19 , 2002 . She graduated from River View High School in 1973 .
She retired from General Motors after 32 years . She also enjoyed making crafts , plastic canvas , sewing quilts , and working in her flower beds .
She is survived by her husband , Danny Fitchett ; her loving daughter , Deonna ( Dan ) Byrnes ; loving grandsons , Matthew ( Cailee ) Palmer and Daniel Byrnes ; granddaughter , Amanda ( Chris ) Tubbs ; great-granddaughters , Adyson , Emma , Olyvia , and Ivyanna Tubbs ; great-grandson , Gavin death by three brothers & sisters-in-law , Arthur & Lucille Ridenbaugh , John & Norma Ridenbaugh , and Dale & Emogene Ridenbaugh ; a sister & brotherin-law , Marjorie & Arthur Corder ; and a brother-inlaw , Maurice Mullett .
A graveside service was held at 11 a . m . Saturday , Oct . 16 , 2021 , at Tiverton Cemetery , with Pastor Ron Davis officiating , and military rites performed by the Coshocton Co .
