We are family doctors who have been practicing in Coshocton for over 60 years combined . It ’ s sad that Coshocton county has had the highest rate of Covid cases in the state of Ohio the past few weeks . This is a preventable disease . It ’ s sad to see people sick & dying when we could have stopped this months ago by getting vaccinated . Our belief , is , except for clean water & safe sewerage , the greatest saving of human lives & elimination of suffering in history has come from vaccines . Horrible lethal & crippling diseases like smallpox & polio have been eliminated . In our relatively short career we have seen things like meningitis in infants

Hello , my name is Joan Jones . My husband and I make our home here in Coshocton .
When I was a young girl , reading was difficult for me . Thanks to my wonderful English teacher , Mrs . Ruland , I found my love of reading . I am asking for your support of the Coshocton Public Library renewal levy .
Just this year I have been taking my young loved one to Lapsit at the library . It ’ s so wonderful — full of songs , books she reads , rhymes , crafts , activities and so much fun . Our personal favorite is the color parachute and the books Ms . Librarian reads . My sweetie gets so

excited to go . She jumps up and down when it ’ s time for the library visit . When a 3-year-old loves the library , can you imagine her future possibilities .
We are blessed in our community to have an amazing library where you can borrow books , movies and music ; get on the computer ; and borrow electrically . They also do outreach to those who can ’ t get there . It ’ s truly a hidden jewel in our area . The library staff is amazing — so kind , friendly and helpful .
Here is a bit of information about our library from 2019 : 177,959 visited the library ; 367,810 physical items borrowed ; 50,288 electronic materials borrowed ; 724 programs hosted ; 17,978 attending programs ; 257 home-bound visits ; and 556 bookmobile visits .
The renewal is for general operations , so it pays the day-to-day needs of the library system .

It has been said lately - “ we ’ re reading far too many 50 and 60 year old obituaries .” That is absolutely true . As one of our esteemed colleagues who is working overtime treating people with Covid in our hospital said , “ the elderly who have been vaccinated , if they get sick , they are making it . The 60 year olds who aren ’ t vaccinated are dying .” We have not seen anyone die or be seriously affected by the Covid vaccine , but had multiple deaths from Covid in the past few weeks . The hospitals are not full of people with vaccine complications ; they are full of largely unvaccinated people ill with Covid .
We are hurt by how the medical profession has been portrayed by some as some sort of malign conspiracy . You go into medicine because you want to do good and help people . It ’ s a lot of work and personal sacrifice , with the idea always to help the patients . The system is rigorously designed to analyze the evidence , to get the best possible information for the good of mankind . The last statistic I heard was 98 % of US doctors had been vaccinated , and that was a few months ago . A speaker from Dayton Children ’ s Hospital repored that , nationally , 100,000 children have lost their primary care givers to Covid . That ’ s a lot of grief .
We believe God created the human body with ability to heal itself . That is how vaccines work . By exposing your immune
