SATURDAY , OCT . 10 , 1981 Under the eye of newly crowned Homecoming Queen Tammy Bates , the Ridgewood Generals put another tally in the win column . Jewett-Scio was their opponent , and the final score was 27-6 . Todd Kohl , Randy Roberts and Keith Guilliams each scored a touchdown with Willie Arnold scoring two extra points . FRIDAY , OCT . 11 , 1991 The IVC Volleyball season is over , and the Lady Generals finished their first undefeated season and
in the top rank . Their season was capped by Thursday night ’ s 15-13 , 15-3 win over Hiland . Jean Ann Harrison led the team in scoring with 17 attempts and 13 kills . She was followed by Danielle Hostetler with 10 kills and both Tonya Altier and Emily Griffith earning five kills apiece . The Seventh Street gate was manned by the Park United Methodist Church once again this year , and it featured a touching memorial to one of its longtime faces . Francis “ J . R .” Clark , who passed away on Sept . 17 , regularly worked the gate over the years . His recognizable shirt and apron were put over a chair and stationed at his usual spot at the gate .
